October 4th & 5th, 2008 Download the Kawartha Farmfest Map and plan out your route. Wear your Kawartha Farmfest buttons and show them at each site. Looking for a place to start your Kawartha Farmfest tour? Maps & Buttons will be on sale at Lindsay and Kinmount Farmers’ Market both located in their respective downtowns on Saturday. Another option is to start at Cheesefest located at Lindsay’s Upstairs at Loblaws located at 400 Kent Street in Lindsay. All host sites will also have buttons and maps available. Be sure to bring your camera. Call our toll-free number 1-866-3-6673 or 705-324-9411 ext.232 for more information on how to enter your best pictures in our Photo competition. Read through the information on the host sites, look at the map and then plan a route beginning at the site of your choice. Allow about 1 hour per farm. Enjoy the scenery, and allow time for eating and shopping. Bring a cooler for fresh produce and baking. Do dress appropriate for the weather. Consider sensible footwear, comfortable clothes, an extra sweater or jacket and a raincoat.

Do respect the farm families that have offered to act as your hosts. Do not enter signs are for your protection, or for the protection of the animals and crops. Please leave your pets at home, as you will be visiting working farms with farm animals and pets.
Smoking is not permitted at any of the locations. Parking will be provided off road at all locations. Please avoid parking on the shoulder of the road for safety reasons. Be sure to drive carefully. Watch for orange balloons and Kawartha Farmfest road signs to direct you to the nearest site.
